We started the morning with a walk around Lake Padden, but honestly she knew exactly where we were and was pulling us along so she could get to the dog park quicker.
Although Leia is a bit reactive on-leash, off-leash she adores other dogs and wants to say hi to and sniff all of them. She gets so excited she howls a little. Maybe she has a bit of hounddog in her!

She likes to jump on the big dogs, chew the hair on the longer-haired dogs, and she's really sweet and gentle with the small ones. She even got to see a couple fellow Dobies before we left. And if any are chasing after something, we wants to run along after them to find out what!
Sometimes she gets so excited and happy to be there that she doesn't pay attention where she is going and runs full tilt until she body checks another dog. THUNK! A moment of bewilderment, and then she's off again...

She especially loves dogs that are the same size as her.
There
was a little Rottweiler puppy who loved to lay down in people's
shadows, and Leia had to come over and see what was so great about
laying on the ground.

Haha, seeing her so happy makes all of this worthwhile.
