As many of you know, Leia loves playing with other dogs - sometimes to the point of annoyance. She's a bit demanding, wanting constant attention, but it's in good fun.
Last week she made a friend in Arj, my friend Megan's corgi!
Arj was happy to oblige when all Leia wanted to do was chase and be chased in
Megan's massive backyard.
Some down time in the shade to cool off was soon needed.
But eventually they were back out exploring the yard side by side.
It was one of the most adorable things I've seen.
They were so tuckered out, they fell asleep together.
Later that week, she met Arj's brother, Gus. A great big Newfie whose head comes up past my elbow. At first she was intimidated, but soon fell in love and the two of them played, hung out, and napped in this position:
Everyone needs a pair of best buds.
